The Kosher Project
In 2025, our family’s winery started the process to become Maryland’s first and only Kosher winery to reconnect us to our longstanding history of producing Kosher honey wines (mead) in Poland in the 19th and 20th centuries. We are currently operating under two separate hechshers: Star-K and Masorti.
All wines and honey wines produced in 2025 are produced under a hechsher.
All Kosher wines are being released on a rolling basis and are created in small-lot, limited productions. To guarantee access to all of our products, we recommend joining our wine club.
Our first Star-K Honey Wine

The first in a series of three honey wines produced without grapes. Crafted in our longstanding tradition of honey wines that dates back to the 19th Century Poland.

The first Kosher wine produced and released in Maryland under the supervision of Rabbi Jordan Hersh of Beth Sholom in Frederick, Maryland.
A style of dry red wine that is typically seen in the Beaujolais region of France.
